John Lee
John Lee has been practicing architecture in New York since 1989. He has worked for established firms such as Pei, Cobb, Freed & Partners and KPF. Eventually he became a Design Partner at HLW Int. In 2003, he established Workshop For Architecture as its founding Principal. In 2008, as part of his interest in bridging the design-build divide, he established Workshop For Construction Inc.
Experienced in a variety of project scales, both domestic and abroad, John has worked with developers, private institutions, corporations and private individuals. His projects have received recognition from magazine such as Architecture Magazine, Architectural Review, the former Progressive Architecture and Interiors Magazine. With new projects from WFORA, his work continues to gain growing interest from publications and journals.
